Students had a great time celebrating and honoring our veterans across the District for Veterans Day. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to attend one (or many) of our assemblies or even talk to students about what it means to be a veteran. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has served!

To the east of Ozark Middle School and to the south of North Elementary sits a beautiful secret that many Ozark residents don’t know about — multiple outdoor classrooms nestled among trees, wildlife and a peaceful trail. This fall, that outdoor space got an update, thanks to the Lowe’s Hero Project. 

What does it mean to be an Ozark Tiger? Two central themes we often hear when answering this question are “passion” and “lifelong learner.” And that is evident with the summer adventures that two Ozark teachers, Sandi Criswell and Amanda Clark, participated in. 

On June 19, the Ozark Board of Education voted to hire Lisa Anderson as the Ozark Middle School assistant principal for the 2025-26 school year. The position became available recently after the board named current Assistant Principal Jared Lotz as middle school principal for next year.
